Alternative Dispute Resolution

Programme : This course covers international arbitration in French and comparative law (mainly US, English, Swiss and the UNCITRAL model-law). It deals with the jurisdiction of the arbitrator, the arbitration process and judicial review of awards.  

 The course focuses on international commercial arbitration. However the module also provides an overview of investment arbitration. Special attention is paid to international conventions such as New York convention of 1958 and the rules of arbitration institutions such as the ICC.
