This course is taught entirely in English and adopts a strongly practice-oriented approach. Through the analysis of contractual clauses, their origins, drafting techniques, legal regime and practical implications, students are introduced to the realities and methods of international commercial practice. The course thus offers both linguistic and substantive insight into the functioning of international trade and cross-border business transactions
