Description
This course provides an introduction to business strategy, covering the core frameworks used to analyze competitive advantage and guide strategic decision-making. Students learn to assess the external environment (industry structure, competitive forces, market dynamics) and the internal resources and capabilities of a firm, before examining the main strategic options available at both business-unit and corporate level : competitive positioning, diversification, growth strategies, and international expansion.
The course combines theoretical frameworks with case study analysis, giving students the tools to formulate, evaluate, and defend strategic recommendations in realistic business situations.
