Description
The course offers an overview of key concepts, methods, and research findings on the scientific study of well-being, character strengths, positive emotions, constructive thinking, and resilience. It combines core theory with practical applications (validated questionnaires and positive intervention exercises) to show how well-being can be promoted with attention to educational and cross-cultural contexts. The course also develops a critical perspective on the field’s limitations, ethical considerations, and the conditions under which interventions are most effective.
